Last weekend I took a trip to Dublin and I had the BEST time. So I thought I’d share the pictures and let you know what I got up to.
Firstly, it was a very tiring weekend. We flew at 6 am from Leeds Bradford airport on the Friday (but I had to get up at 1am to get there in time). On the way back, it was a 9 pm flight on the Sunday, so we really did get the whole weekend.
On the Friday, we were all really tired so we just had a wander around the city.
On the Saturday, my Mum and I spent the morning at the National Gallery of Ireland. It was beautiful and because we got there early it was quite quiet and the best atmosphere. We could have spent all day there but we wanted to fit more in.
At this point, we were trying to navigate our way to the castle.
I absolutely loved Ireland and would love to go back. I also realised how much I love weekend getaways. So my Mum and I have already decided for our next trip it should be Amsterdam.
Anyways, as much as I’m still catching up on sleep now I’d happily trade my sleep to be back, everyone was so friendly and we couldn’t have had a better time.
Lots of Love,
Sophie

I’ve never actually been to Ireland although it is on my list of places to visit. Sounds like you had a really good time, albeit the lack of sleep. xx
