I am LIVING for this nice weather in the U.K, its literally been a day of having the sun out and I’m already in the BEST mood.
Anyways, onto what I’ve been loving during April…
I have mentioned my bed in too many favourites post. However, we can excuse this as I’m actually talking about my bedding instead. Once Spring rolled round, I realised it was time to change to some lighter bedding. Instead of putting on one I already had, I went out and bought this one instead. I think its simple but with really cute detailing.
During my trip to Dublin, I craved fruit, I don’t know whether it was because I was so tired I just wanted something I knew would give me some energy or just to help me feel less groggy. Either way, this was what I bought and ended up LOVING. Whenever I can, I’ve been making sure to add an Innocent Smoothie to the basket and when I’ve finished this blog post, I’m going to reward myself with a smoothie. This is an ok habit right?
Not my usual type of favourite, although one definitely worth mentioning. My car was starting to lose the ‘new car’ smell and I wanted a car freshener. But I didn’t want one that dangled down from the car mirror so I was very happy to find this that just clips onto your air vent. I have this one ‘blossom & breeze’ and one currently on my car is ‘cotton fresh‘. Honestly, my car smells amazing, I love how small it is, yet its so effective. If you’re in the market for a car freshener, I just can’t recommend this enough.
Side note: I was looking at how much they are online and I got mine for half the price at B&M.
I didn’t think Design and Photography (2/3 courses I do at A level) would ever properly end up in a favourites post, however, here we are. So my exams for these subjects are all next week, then I’ve completely finished both of them. Which is weird when they have taken up so much of my time for the past couple of years. Overall, I have enjoyed both, the freedom to be creative and create my own projects. As well as having a really chilled teacher, it will feel weird when it sinks in I don’t have it anymore. Obviously just have to get through the 15 hour exams (30 hours in total, PLEASE LET TIME PASS QUICKLY).
I have fallen back in love with my Dior ADDICT Perfume. I’m not even going to try and describe the scent, I just know that it smells good and it lasts all day. That is what counts.
Music- Recently, I have been obsessed with Anne-Marie. I love her new album ‘Speak Your Mind’. I just love her music, at the minute especially ‘2002’ and ‘Perfect’.

What have been your recent favourites?
Lots of Love,

Thank you! Basically my exams are where I make a final piece for the subject in 15 hours and it’s under exam conditions, there’s no formal written part of the exam!
I will check out your blog now! ❤️

Good luck with your exams! I need a new car air fresher. I had a cherry jelly bean one that was amazing. It ran out so I bought a blueberry one but you can hardly smell it 😦 definitely will keep my eye out for those ones 🙂

I love reading about your favorites, because you give us lil glimpses of your month! Sadly I can’t have car fresheners in my car. I am super sensitive to artificial scents, and so I get headaches from them (especially because they’re in an enclosed area!) I hope May is amazing for you love 🙂 xxx

That’s so annoying, but I guess makes a lot of sense!
Thank you, hope it’s a good month for you too! Xx

Your drawings are so good!! I would love to see a post on your portfolio (if you are allowed). My friend did Art A Level and she literally hated the exams as she got so bored. Some people allow you to listen to music whilst others don’t and hours without music sounds incredible boring to me! xx

Thank you so much! I’ve just finished my design so everything’s handed in now. A portfolio post would have been such a good idea! I’ve taken pictures of my final piece for it though. So at some point I could put it in a post along with my photography final piece.
I completely understand about the boredom. I’m not allowed to listen to music in either of Exam unfortunately. Design wasn’t too bad because I seemed to have more to do but so far I’m 9 hours into my photography and it’s really dragging. I just don’t have the same amount of work to do so the boredom is really starting to hit xx

Perhaps when you get your portfolio back (if you do), you could do a post about it? And perhaps about your experience of the degree? I always wanted to do Photography but my school didn’t offer it as anything other than an after school activity. xx

That’s a good idea! That’s such a shame that you couldn’t do it. Xx
